About Our Brotherhood
Founded in 1879, the Iota chapter is the longest-standing chapter of Sigma Nu in the nation. We have continued to maintain an environment of brotherhood and honor within our chapter and will continue to do so for years to come. Sigma Nu is committed to building well-rounded men who are charged with being leaders in their communities, and the Iota chapter is no exception. Sigma Nu is proud to produce men who are at the forefront of all industries and will continue to do so for years to come.

Athletics
The Iota chapter takes pride in supporting brothers that are involved in extracurricular activities. Currently, we have 18 active members who are also Samford student-athletes, many of which have been presented awards for their hard work. As the most athletic fraternity on campus, we are proud to support our current brothers and alumni in their athletic careers.
